DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University women's basketball released its full schedule with game times for the 2025-26 season.
 
Averett kicks off its season with a home date, as the Cougars take to the court first on Tuesday, Nov. 11, with former USA South Conference foe Greensboro College for a 7 p.m. start. Averett's first road test of the season comes against North Carolina Wesleyan University on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m.
 
All Averett women's basketball home games offer free admission to fans and can be streamed on FloCollege.
 
"The girls have been working hard to prepare for the season," women's basketball head coach Tim Krotish notes, entering his first season leading the charge in Danville. "We are excited and looking forward to the challenge of being competitive in the always tough ODAC."
 
Averett's fourth season as a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference begins on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Danville with a visit from Washington and Lee University.
 
The Cougars Senior Day match up is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, as Averett takes on the University of Lynchburg in the sides final home contest of the season.
 
Averett caps the regular season on the road versus Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday, Feb. 21, with ODAC postseason action set to begin Feb. 25.
