Averett University’s Athletic Training Major

Averett University’s Athletic Training Education Program prepares undergraduate students for successful and rewarding careers in athletic training.

•    Exciting internship opportunities with NFL teams
•    Opportunities for hands-on experience in an NCAA athletic program
•    Nationally accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of Athletic Education (CAATE)
•    Prepares students for NATA-BOC exam

Students must apply for entry into the athletic training program prior to the start of their sophomore year at Averett. Check catalog for requirements.
