Averett junior left-hander Taylor Davis was named the USA South Conference's Pitcher of the Week. Davis, a native of Clayton, N.C., earned a win in his only appearance on the mound last week, a 7-0 victory over USA South foe LaGrange College on Saturday. Davis pitched the first seven innings and did not allow a run on six hits with zero walks and six strikeouts.
