Facility Reservations
Averett University's E. Stuart James Grant North Campus Sports Complex serves as a multi-purpose facility which accommodates the students, faculty/staff, and the Danville community. The facility is available for rental for special events. A description of the North Campus Sports Complex is available on each facility's page.
Reservation priority with be decided in the following order:
1. Intercollegiate (in-season varsity contests and practices)
2. Intercollegiate (out-of-season activities)
3. Intramural Sports
4. Other AU recognized clubs
5. Cougar Club members
6. Non AU Groups
Reservation Requests:
Electronic requests for reservations may be submitted by one member of the organization. The online form can be
found here. For further information about room availability, fees, and guidelines, please contact Danny Miller at

Food/Beverages: Located in the vending/concessions area. Outside food is prohibited.
Parking: No parking pass is needed. Some special events charge for parking. Overnight parking needed to be preapproved.
Alcohol & Tobacco Products: Consumption of alcoholic beverages and use of tobacco products are not allowed. Anyone suspected to be under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave immediately.
Pets: No pets are allowed at the North Campus facility.
Inclement Weather: All events are due to cancelation for inclement weather including lightning.
Suspicious Activity: Report illegal/suspicious activity to the AU Security Department via the “Blue Light” Emergency Phone or (434) 791-5888.
