Football junior quarterback Jacob Wright was named the USA South Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 8. Wright, a native of Tallahassee, Florida, accumulated 238 yards of total offense with four passing touchdowns in a 38-14 win over USA South foe LaGrange College on Oct. 6. Wright was 16-of-25 for 185 yards, which produced a 179.0 passing efficiency rating. On the ground, Wright carried the ball 12 times for 53 yards. Through four games, Wright is among the USA South's top five in both passing and rushing yards per game and passing touchdowns.
