Football senior linebacker Dejon Brooks earned USA South Conference Defensive Player of the Week and D3football.com Team of the Week honors after notching three sacks en route to setting a new program record for career sacks in a 25-6 victory over USA South foe Brevard College last Saturday. The D3football.com Preseason All-America Third Team selection was responsible for 3.5 tackles that resulted in a total loss of 18 yards. For the game, Brooks totaled 12 tackles to lead the team.
