Football freshman Travis Jones became the first player in program history to return a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown in the same game as Averett fell to USA South foe Maryville College 40-17 on Saturday. Jones' 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter is the second longest in school history. His 75-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter is tied for the fourth-longest in program history.
