Men's basketball junior Corey Baldwin was named the USA South Conference Player of the Week on Jan. 17. He led the Cougars to two of its three wins last week by averaging 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. In a 68-58 win over William Peace University on Jan. 13, Baldwin notched a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds to go along with one assist and one steal. In a 75-56 victory over N.C. Wesleyan College on Jan. 15, Baldwin scored a career-high 25 points with eight rebounds and three blocks.
