Men's golf graduate student Caleb Kimbrough was selected as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Golfer of the Week after a second-place finish individually and the team's third-place finish at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Berry College Oct. 23-24. Kimbrough, a native of New Bern, North Carolina, finished at 4-under-par for the tournament to finish in a three-way tie for second place. Kimbrough shot a 1-under 71 on the par-72, 6,685-yard course during the final round. On Day 1, Kimbrough shot a 3-under 69. As a team, No. 18 Averett jumped up from fifth to third after shooting 1-under during the final round. The Cougars finished with a collective score of 13-over.
