Women's golf junior Lilli Caroline Tamburstuen was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Golfer of the Week on March 5 after winning her tournament that week. Tamburstuen won on a scoreboard playoff at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational, which concluded Tuesday. She shot 1-under during the final round to overcome a six-stroke deficit during on the final day to finish at 5-over for the tournament. That tied her with Coastal Georgia's Madelyn Taylor, who held the lead after the first round, and Tamburstuen won the scorecard playoff. Tamburstuen notched her second career individual win as Averett finished sixth as a team. The 1-under round also marked the Averett program's first-ever round under par by an individual.
