Softball senior right-hander Taylor Sullivan was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Week on March 25. Sullivan, a native of Timberlake, North Carolina, went 1-1 in the circle last week with a 1.50 earned run average and 14 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched. She had nine strikeouts in a tough 3-1 loss to N.C. Wesleyan University on March 19, then struck out five in a shutout win over Eastern Mennonite University to begin ODAC play on Sunday. Sullivan also did damage with her bat, batting .364 with four hits, three RBIs and one double over 11 at-bats. She also stole three bases.
