Women's track and field sophomore Carlotta Gonzalez achieved a first for the program at the ODAC outdoor championships last weekend, winning first in women's javelin, and inching closer to national qualfiying status. In the event, Gonzalez had a final throw of 37.62 meters, a meter ahead of the second-place finisher.
