Paul Porter, a sophomore on the men's basketball team, averaged 17 points and 16 rebounds in a pair of conference games last week. In a double-overtime loss to Shenandoah, Porter put up career-highs of 23 points and 18 rebounds, including an Averett single-game record 13 offensive rebounds. In a win over Methodist, he finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
