Marquis Scott, a junior on the men's basketball team, scored a career-high 38 points and grabbed 16 rebounds against Shenandoah University on Jan. 28. Scott's 38 points tied for the second-most points ever scored by a Cougar in a single game. He also tied the Averett single-game record for offensive rebounds in a game with 13.
