Averett junior Brandon Grogan was named the USA South Conference Golfer of the Week last week on Sept. 19 Grogan is coming off a win at the Battle of the Border on Sept. 17. Grogan shot a 2-under-par 142 in the one-day, 36-hole matchup between Averett and Greensboro College to win by two strokes. However, Greensboro won the overall event 599-605.
