Frank H. Fulton Sr. Indoor Batting Facility

The Frank H. Fulton Sr. Indoor Batting Facility is a training facility for Averett University student-athletes. The Frank Fulton Indoor Batting Facility is a 5,500-square-foot building located on Averett's North Campus beyond the center field fence of the baseball stadium, Owen-Fulton Field. The turfed facility features two long, netted batting cages, one short cage and two pitching mounds that allow student-athletes to train year-round. There is also an open area in the back of the facility that allows baseball and softball players to work on individual technique when they are not in the batting cages. In addition to baseball and softball, the men's golf program uses the facility during the offseason.

Funded by an anonymous donor's $200,000 gift, the Frank H. Fulton Sr. Indoor Batting Facility was constructed in 2014 and is named after the father of longtime Averett baseball coach Ed Fulton.
