DANVILLE, Va. - The USA South Athletic Conference and Averett University announced on Monday the placement of 61 Averett Student-Athletes to the USA South Academic All-Conference Team.

To be selected for the Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA for both semesters of the previous year.  Overall, from the 11 member institutions in the USA South (including Maryville (TN) as a football only member) there were a total of 636 student-athletes who received the award for the 2007-2008 academic year.
