The Averett University volleyball team, the No. 2 seed from the North Division, will face off against Piedmont College, the No. 3 seed in the South, in Friday's USA South Conference Tournament quarterfinals at 3 p.m. held at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, Virginia.

The Cougars (21-14, 15-4 USA South) lost to Piedmont (20-12, 11-5 USA South) in five sets during their regular season meeting on a neutral court at Ferrum College on Oct. 12.
