The Averett football team returns to action Saturday when the Cougars continue USA South Conference play with foe Maryville College at 1 p.m. at Daly Field as part of its Homecoming Part 2 festivities.

Live stats and a webcast will be available through the Averett Sports Network.

Averett (1-4, 1-1 USA South) is coming off a tough 48-46 road loss at Greensboro College a week ago. Maryville (5-1, 2-1 USA South) defeated Ferrum College 70-37 last Saturday.

Following the game, Averett will have a groundbreaking ceremony for Frank R. Campbell Stadium.
