The Averett University volleyball team, the top seed in the North Division, faces foe William Peace University, the No. 4 seed in the North, at 3 p.m. Friday in the USA South Conference Tournament quarterfinals hosted by Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

Averett (26-10, 17-2 USA South), ranked seventh in the South Region, defeated William Peace twice during the regular season. The Cougars edged the Pacers 3-2 Oct. 3 on a neutral court at Ferrum College, then swept William Peace Oct. 31 on a neutral court at N.C. Wesleyan College.
