The Averett University volleyball team, the top seed in the North Division, faces Maryville College, the No. 2 seed in the South, at 12 p.m. Saturday in the USA South Conference Tournament semifinals hosted by Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The winner will advance to Saturday's championship match at 6 p.m.

Averett (27-10), ranked seventh in the South Region, defeated William Peace 3-1 in Friday's quarterfinals. Maryville (17-10) advanced by defeating Methodist University 3-1 in its quarterfinal. Covenant (17-2), which beat Ferrum College, will face off with Meredith College (22-9), a 3-2 winner over Piedmont College, in the other semifinal at 2 p.m.
