The Averett University women's basketball team plays host to conference Ferrum College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Grant Center following the men's game. The game is also part of Averett's "Caring For Carrie" event as donations will be accepted to benefit Carrie Hendrick and the Jimmy V Foundation. Fans are also asked to where teal to the game in support of Carrie and her battle with ovarian cancer.
