The Averett University women's basketball team will battle Emory & Henry College on a non-conference game Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Grant Center. The game was originally set for Jan. 24 but had to be rescheduled due to snow.

Averett (11-9, 6-6 USA South) is coming off a loss at nationally ranked Maryville College on Saturday. Emory & Henry (15-6, 9-4 ODAC) is ranked eighth in the region.
