The Averett University volleyball team finishes play in the Christopher Newport University Invitational on Saturday in Newport News, Virginia. Averett plays host No. 15 CNU at 12 p.m. and the University of Scranton at 2 p.m. in a pair of rematches from Friday.

Averett (7-5) fell 3-0 to the nationally ranked Captains and lost a tough 3-2 match against Scranton during the first day.
