DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University volleyball will play for the 2017 USA South Conference Tournament on Saturday at Averett's Grant Center. The Cougars, the No. 1 seed in the East Division, will face  West Division No. 1 seed Covenant College at 3 p.m. for a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Averett (32-3, 16-0 USA South) advanced to the championship with a 3-0 win over Maryville College on Friday night, while Covenant (23-7) beat William Peace University 3-1 in its semifinal.

Tickets are $6 for adult general admission and $3 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens and children. Only cash will be accepted. The first 100 Averett students will get in free with your student ID and the first 30 faculty/staff with ID will receive free admission as well, courtesy of Averett.
