The Averett University baseball team begins a three-game home series with conference foe Maryville College on Friday with a 1:30 p.m. game at Owen-Fulton Field.
 
Live stats and a live broadcast will be available through the Averett Sports Network. The series was slated to begin on Saturday, but Sunday's game was bumped up to Friday to avoid potential inclement weather.

Averett (4-12, 0-3 USA South) lost its last outing against Penn State University Harrisburg on Monday. Maryville (8-8, 4-2 USA South) lost to Berry College on Wednesday in its last game.
