The Averett University baseball team begins a three-game home series with conference foe Ferrum College on Friday at 3 p.m. at Owen-Fulton Field.

Averett was scheduled to play on Thursday but had its game canceled at Lynchburg College. Ferrum is coming off a win at Eastern Mennonite University on Tuesday.
