  • The Series: Meredith owns the all-time series advantage between each side. The Avenging Angels have won three of the past five matchups. The most recent contest took place earlier this season at Meredith when freshman Adriana Perez's goal in the 84th minute of play lifted the Cougars to the 1-0 victory.
  • Averett at a Glance: After winning 1-0 at William Peace University, Averett dropped the regular season finale at Greensboro College. The Cougars look to rebound going into their first conference tournament game since the 2016 season. During that tournament, the Cougars upset N.C. Wesleyan College on the road, 1-0, before falling at Meredith in the quarterfinals, 1-0.
  • Meredith at a Glance: The Avenging Angels are winless in their past three matches with their last victory coming on Oct. 10, a 4-0 home win over William Peace.
  • Head Coach Colleen McTygue on the Postseason Matchup with Meredith: "We are really excited about the home playoff game that we have tomorrow night," McTygue said. "We beat Meredith the first time around, but it is always hard to beat someone twice. The girls have been practicing really well and understand that this is a huge game and a huge opportunity for us."
