The Series: Averett is 5-13 against Ferrum all-time, but has won two of the last three matchups. The Cougars are 2-6 when they host the Panthers. This is the first meeting between the two since Ferrum left the USA South for the ODAC.
Averett at a Glance: Averett finished second in the USA South Conference. Entering the finale with seven overall wins, the Cougars could set a new program single-season record for overall victories by beating Ferrum. Averett's only losses came at the hands of two NCAA playoff-bound teams. Several Cougars are also chasing records entering the final game against the Panthers, which was rescheduled from Sept. 15 due to weather.
Ferrum at a Glance: The Panthers will look to get to .500 in their overall record after losing to Bridgewater College on Senior Day last week.
