The Averett University women's lacrosse team opens USA South Conference play when the Cougars host N.C. Wesleyan College on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.

Averett (0-1) fell in its debut to Guilford College on Tuesday. N.C. Wesleyan (0-1) lost to Division II Barton College in its season opener.
