The Averett University baseball team hosts non-conference foe Tufts University at 2 p.m. Thursday at Owen-Fulton Field.

Averett (7-18) is coming off an 8-5 home loss to No. 16 Christopher Newport University on Sunday. Tufts (3-2) fell to Guilford College 11-6 on Monday.
