The Averett University baseball team begins its USA South Conference series against N.C. Wesleyan College with a noon doubleheader Friday at Owen-Fulton Field. 

Live statistics and a live broadcast will be available through the Averett Sports Network.

Averett (7-19, 3-6 USA South) is coming off a home loss to Tufts University on Thursday. N.C. Wesleyan (13-14, 6-6 USA South) topped Saint Augustine's University 13-8 on Thursday.

Game 3 of the series, which was scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. Tentatively, Game 3 may be rescheduled for Monday if field conditions allow.
