The Averett University baseball team begins a three-game non-conference series with conference newcomer Pfeiffer University on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Owen-Fulton Field.

Averett (5-13) is coming off a two-game sweep of the University of Mary Washington on Thursday. Pfeiffer (10-4) is coming off an 8-7 loss to Greensboro College last Sunday.
