The Averett University women's lacrosse team, the No. 6 seed, travels to play No. 3 seed Methodist University in the USA South Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Live statistics and a live broadcast will be available through Methodist. The winner advances to the semifinals held Friday in LaGrange, Georgia.

Averett (10-7, 4-5 USA South) is coming off an 18-8 win at Salem College to finish the regular season on Sunday. Methodist (8-7, 7-2 USA South) enters the tournament on a three-game win streak after beating LaGrange College 21-11 on Sunday. Methodist edged Averett 14-9 in their regular season meeting on March 17 in Danville.
