The Series: This is the first time that Bluefield and Averett will go head to head as the Cougars are in their second year as a program while this is the first season of Rams wrestling.
Averett at a Glance: Averett comes off a weekend in which they placed eighth at the Virginia Duals in the American College Division. The Cougars come into this match undefeated at home on the year which bodes well for Averett as they have fallen in each of their last three duals and are in search of a bounce back performance.
Bluefield at a Glance: The Rams have split their last two duals, defeating Allen University 39-6 before falling to Ferrum College, 48-6.
