The Series: This will be the second all-time meeting between each side with Averett winning the inaugural meeting a year ago at home, 27-19. However, because Washington & Lee and Averett are in the same region the two sides have met plenty of times at the regional tournaments and invitationals that each team competes in.
Averett at a Glance: Averett is in search of their second consecutive dual victory as the Cougars defeated Bluefield College last Thursday, 39-16. Averett tallied four pins in a row in that match to pull away from the Rams.
Washington & Lee at a Glance: The Generals are also looking for their second straight dual win as Washington & Lee snapped their three dual skid against Williams College with a 36-12 victory.
