DANVILLE, Va. — Around 300 Averett University student-athletes paired up and worked with more than 230 Special Olympics participants from the region as part of the annual Fall Fun Day hosted at Averett's Grant Center on North Campus. The Cougars and their buddies went from station to station to participate in sports drills, share smiles and have fun over the two-hour event.
