The Series: Averett is 5-2 all-time against Huntingdon dating back to the inaugural meeting in 2003. The Cougars have won three in a row over the Hawks, however this will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2015. 
Averett at a Glance: Averett earned an impressive 5-4 win over The University of Lynchburg, Feb. 19 for its first victory of the 2019 season. Freshman Collin Clark dealt on the mound for the Cougars, striking out nine batters over five innings, while offensively Averett connected on nine hits. 
Huntingdon at a Glance: The Hawks welcome Averett 6-0 on the year with wins over Berea College and Guilford College to open the season, followed by wins over Spalding University and Wisconsin-Whitewater University most recently.
