The Cougars benefited from back-to-back walk-off victories, winning Friday's meeting 2-1 following a walk-off wild pitch, and Saturday's Game 1 on a walk-off single by junior Nick Winston. Winston finished the weekend 6-12 at the plate, scoring six runs, one run batted in, two doubles and one stolen base. Junior Andrew Lancaster capped off the series 4-10, while sophomore Tyler Butler pitched 4.1 innings, striking out three batters and earning the victory in Game 2 of the series.
