The Series: Since 1995, Virginia Wesleyan leads the series 21-8. The Marlins have won seven in a row, including a tight 2-1 win over the Cougars last season at the Triangle Classic in Cary, North Carolina. Prior to that, they last met in the 2017 NCAA Regional in Ashland, Virginia.
