Averett at a Glance: Averett looks to keep momentum going after an electric 1-0 win over Bridgewater College on Wednesday. The win snapped a seven-game loosing skid for the Cougars and nearly marked the first complete game no-hitter in program histroy. Sophomore Kyle Lamantia came one out away from making history before giving up a two out triple in the bottom of the ninth inning. Lamantia and freshman Avery Spicer would combine for the complete game shutout victory as Spicer recorded the final strikeout and his first collegiate save.
