Averett at a Glance: The Cougars have lost two in a row following a pair of home losses to Greensboro College to end the season. The Cougars finished tied with two other schools with a 9-7 league mark, but after factoring in tiebreakers, received the East Division's No. 5 seed in the conference tournament. The winner of this best-of-three series will advance to the double-elimination portion of the tournament played in LaGrange, Georgia next week.
William Peace at a Glance: The Pacers split their final four doubleheaders in the regular season. Although they finished with a losing record, their 10-7 mark in league play earned the Pacers the No. 2 seed in the East Division and the right to host a first-round series.
