Averett at a Glance: The Cougars have won four of their last six matches after taking down Meredith College 3-1 on the road Wednesday to open conference play. Averett holds a 57-11 mark against Methodist dating back to 1987, with a 58-9 mark against N.C. Wesleyan over the same span.
Methodist at a Glance: The Monarchs' only win this season has been against upstart program Regent University. Methodist followed that victory with a 3-1 loss to Salem College on Wednesday to start the conference slate.
