The Series vs. Lynchburg: The Cougars are 24-23 all-time against the Hornets dating back to the first meeting in 1997. Lynchburg won three straight over Averett including a series sweep last year.
Averett at a Glance: The Cougars open their 2021 season looking to turn the page on 2020 and get back into the USA South Conference playoffs. Averett welcomes the return of seniors Ryan Traylor, Andrew Lancaster, Cole Spain and Tanner Bradshaw along with junior Brandon Hatcher and sophomore's Kyle Wilson, Nolan Maccabe and Tyler Nuckols.
