The Series: These programs have met only three times dating back to 2018 with Randolph taking all three victories. Each point differential has become closer since the first meeting with the Cougars falling in the last meeting 8-4. 
Averett at a Glance: In the season opener the Cougars set numerous school records in a 12-5 victory over Centenary. Averett battled hard with Ferrum in its last outing but fell short before earning a close victory over Oglethorpe 7-6. The Cougars started last year 0-6 before having the season cut short. This is the first year head coach Anthony Mackin will have four-year seniors as this is the fourth year of the programs history.
Randolph at a Glance: The Stormy Petrels began its campaign with a loss on the road against the University of Lynchburg 0-24. Oglethorpe started last season 2-5 and 0-1 in conferance play.
