DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University men's lacrosse program dropped a home conference match 14-5 against Greensboro College on Wednesday afternoon on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.

Averett (4-3) only scored one goal in the first half from Junior Tyler Moodie who scored three goals on the day. Freshman Connor Taff was credited with the assist and also added four ground balls on the day. Averett headed into the halftime break trailing 10-1.
Greensboro (5-1) was out scored 3-2 in the third quarter but headed into the final period of play with a 12-4 advantage.

Mike Michaud added a goal each for the Cougars while senior goalkeeper
Jacob Shriver tallied 19 saved.

The Cougars are back at home March 27th when they host Pfeiffer University at 6 p.m.
