Averett at a Glance: Averett is coming off a 25-23 road loss to Methodist University on March 12. The Cougars' contest scheduled for March 20 against Greensboro College was canceled. Averett and N.C. Wesleyan were scheduled to open the season against each other on March 6 in Danville, but that game was called off because of COVID-19 protocols. Instead, Averett picked up a game with Brevard College.
