The Series: The Cougars are 7-0 all-time against Pfeiffer in a series that began in 2017 when the Falcons made the move to the USA South and Division III. The two teams just played in a non-conference matchup on Thursday, with Averett winning 3-1 at Pfeiffer.
Averett at a Glance: Averett made quick work of Mary Baldwin University with a 3-0 home victory on Tuesday night, then beat Pfeiffer 3-1 Thursday. Saturday's meeting will count toward conference standings and finish the regular season for both teams. It will also help determine Averett's seeding for next week's USA South Conference East Division Tournament. Averett will honor seniors McKenzie Miller and Myka Patterson prior to the match.
