Football announces 2021 schedule with times; Season ticket sales begin July 26

| By:
DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University football program has unveiled its schedule for the 2021 season under second-year head coach Patrick Henry. The slate will feature 10 games, including eight USA South Conference games and five home games on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.

"I am excited to get back to some sense of normalcy with a 10-game schedule," Henry said. "While at the time it may not have equated to wins and losses, we learned a lot during the 2021 shortened spring season. We have an experienced group coming back at offensive line and tight end. We feel really good about our core group of receivers and with the timing and chemistry they were they were able to develop with the quarterback. Defensively we have a lot of experience returning as well. We have a lot of defensive lineman that have played significant snaps for us and our starting linebackers have played a lot of significant snaps for us."
