Volleyball Grant Center generic general 2020

Saturday's volleyball match with Washington and Lee postponed, rescheduled for Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University volleyball's match Saturday against Washington and Lee University has been postponed due to a city power outage affecting Averett's North Campus.

Originally scheduled for noon, Saturday's match was tentatively moved back two hours to 2 p.m. as City of Danville utilities crews work to restore power along Mount Cross Road. However, it was eventually postponed when power wasn't able to be restored in the needed window of time. 

The two teams have rescheduled the match for Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Grant Center.
